Track3D is building a category-defining Reality Intelligence platform for the construction industry - helping owners, general contractors, and trade partners gain certainty on progress, execution, and risk.
As we scale our US presence and position the company for its next stage of growth, we are hiring a Strategic Finance Lead to be the financial architecture and fundraising engine behind Track3D's ambitions.
This is not a bookkeeping or accounting role. It is a high-ownership, high-trust role for someone who has built financial infrastructure at a growth-stage company before - and knows what investor-grade looks like from the inside.
The Strategic Finance Lead will own Track3D's financial foundation end-to-end - defining our financial systems, building the models that guide business decisions, and positioning the company for its next fundraise with rigour and credibility.
This role blends:
- Strategic financial planning and modelling
- Fundraising readiness and execution support
- Financial systems design and implementation
- Commercial partnership with sales and leadership
with a strong bias toward capital efficiency and investor narrative, while building the internal financial infrastructure that scales with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the company financial model - P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, unit economics, and scenario planning - and keep it current as the business evolves.
- Implement Track3D's financial systems stack, drive the budgeting and forecasting process, and key business metrics with discipline and transparency
- Lead fundraising readiness - maintaining the data room, financial due diligence materials, cap table, and investor-grade reporting at all times, not just when a round is live.
- Partner with the Founders on investor narrative and valuation positioning - benchmarking our metrics against comparable companies and translating business performance into a compelling financial story.
- Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, tracking burn rate, runway, and key business metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV, gross margin) with discipline and transparency.
- Partner with sales on pricing strategy, deal structuring, and contract economics to ensure commercial decisions reflect sound unit economics.
- Prepare board-level financial reporting and own the finance section of board decks.
- Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and banking partners.
This role will be measured on the quality of financial decision-making it enables - not the volume of reports it produces.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- 6 -10+ years across investment banking or top-tier consulting and an in-house finance role at a growth-stage startup
- Has been through at least one venture fundraise from the inside - not as an advisor, but as the person building the model and responding to diligence
- Experience with enterprise B2B or deep tech companies with complex revenue structures
- Strong financial modelling skills and comfort with ambiguity and incomplete data
- US-based, with an existing network of VCs, investors, and financial advisors
What Will Make You Successful
- Builder mentality - you are energised by creating structure where none exists, not maintaining what someone else built
- You think like a business partner, not a compliance function
- Strong financial storytelling - you can translate numbers into a narrative that resonates with investors and board members
- Equally comfortable doing the detailed modelling yourself and presenting the strategic picture to leadership
- Proactive, not reactive - you surface risks and opportunities before they become urgent
What This Role Is Not
- A bookkeeper or controller
- A role that needs a full finance team to function
- Someone who reports what happened
- A role that activates only during fundraising
Why Join Track3D
- Opportunity to build the financial foundation of a category-defining company from the ground up
- Direct partnership with founders at a critical stage of growth
- Shape how Track3D thinks about capital, growth, and investor relationships
- High-visibility, high-ownership role with a direct line to every major business decision
- Be part of a company redefining how the construction industry operates at scale
