Job summary

Dana Canada Corp. is seeking a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, data analysis for reconciliation, and journal entry support. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and running ERP reports (SAP/Oracle).

You will collaborate with both corporate and plant finance teams and communicate results to management. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial reports
• Creation of analysis for reconciliation and journal entry support
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Running reports and analyzing details from various ERP systems (i.e. SAP/Oracle)
• Other ad hoc projects to support both corporate and plant-level finance teams
• Communicate results with various levels of management
• Attend team meetings and training sessions

Education and Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to learn and build computer proficiency using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Word.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner, and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Uncompromising judgment towards confidentiality & business ethics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Education:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
