Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Finance intern for the summer 2027 season in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will learn budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while supporting reports and Pro-Forma modeling for current communities and new acquisitions.

You will collaborate with leaders across functions, participate in cross-functional projects, and present recommendations to senior leadership. This internship is full-time and in-person, designed to immerse you in the business and help you

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in a degree program at a regionally accredited university or college.
Strong teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to work in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

Learn the homebuilding industry, Meritage business model, and a functional area such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, HR, etc.
Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship.
Participate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders.
Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership that can help drive our strategy.
Write a paper focusing on the experience or another assigned topic.
