Job summary

Grainger is offering a 2027 Summer Internship in Finance in Lake Forest, IL. This paid 10-week program trains college students in corporate finance through hands-on projects, onboarding, and mentorship, with exposure to FP&A, accounting, tax, and treasury functions.

You will work on real business-critical projects, leverage AI tools and digital workflows, and gain broad exposure to finance roles while reporting to a Finance/Accounting leader.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028, enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program in business or STEM.
• No visa sponsorship required now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Operations, Financial Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Audit, FP&A, Analytics, Data Science, and Shared Services.
• Engage in onboarding, structured development sessions, and executive meet & greets.
• Use visualization tools and coding (Power BI, SQL) to drive improvements and automate processes.
