Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital offers a Summer 2027 Finance Internship Program at Weill Cornell. The eight-week internship in New York City provides hands-on exposure to hospital financial operations, with emphasis on Post Acute Care services, reporting, budgeting, and data collection.

Interns work on real projects, present results to Senior Leadership, and are paired with Finance mentors. The program includes hospital tours, volunteer opportunities, and networking events to build a healthcare

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare management, or related area.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to analyze data and present findings.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Confidential information handling with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and report on key post-acute performance data.
• Assist with budgeting and data collection for Hospital at Home initiatives.
• Present project results to Senior Leadership and mentors.
• Participate in hospital tours and volunteer opportunities.
