Job summary

Associated Bank offers a 12-week internship providing hands-on experience in commercial banking, portfolio management, and credit analysis. You’ll learn from mentors across the organization while developing your career within a values-driven culture.

The program emphasizes structured training, networking opportunities, and exposure to credit risk, client relationships, and financial analysis. Applicants must be currently enrolled as undergraduates with sophomore to senior standing.

Qualifications

Must be a Bachelor's Degree student in sophomore, junior, or senior standing at internship start date.
Preferred: proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience using AI tools for research, productivity, or analysis.
Analytical thinking and curiosity are valued attributes.

Responsibilities

Participate in structured corporate internship programming including orientation and workshops.
Support the Commercial Banking team with day-to-day analytical support and portfolio monitoring.
Analyze financial statements and assist with quarterly portfolio monitoring activities.
Learn and support the credit underwriting process and credit analysis.
Assist with credit approval documentation and analyst-level assignments.
Collaborate with mentors and Commercial Banking professionals to support objectives.
