Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Foundational knowledge of financial accounting principles.
• Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Able to create and edit Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Collect, transact, reconcile and record insurance carrier commissions statements and payments.
• Support the completion of tasks based on department requirements, standard accounting principles, deliverables, and recommendations.
• Analyze, identify and record unearned commissions.
• Leverage software automation for process efficiencies.
• Promote teamwork, support and knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office.
