Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
• GPA minimum 3.0.
• Foundational knowledge of financial accounting principles.
• Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Collect, transact, reconcile and record insurance carrier commissions statements and payments.
• Support department tasks per standard accounting principles and deliverables; analyze and record unearned commissions.
• Leverage software automation for process efficiencies.
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing within the department and office.
• Engage with the internship program and participate in all activities.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance; ensure reliable attendance.
• Assist in other areas of the department or other departments as required.
