Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Cartersville, GA offers a 10-week paid Finance Intern role to gain hands-on experience in capital planning, budgeting, and financial modeling.

You will work with the finance team on capital requests, forecasting, and profitability analysis, supporting month-end close, GAAP compliance, and internal controls while receiving mentorship and real project exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of capital requests for products and manufacturing capacity planning.
• Develop financial models to forecast future shipments and analyze costs and pricing structures.
• Recommend programs to improve profitability and competitive position.
• Collaborate with business unit leadership to develop, submit, and countermeasure departmental budgets.
• Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance; assist in corporate reporting.
