Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) offers a Finance Internship for 2027 to students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or Business.

You will work closely with our Finance and Accounting teams, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting while contributing to corporate reporting and audits. You will be part of a growing electrical contractor, located in office settings with occasional travel to construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
• Support project cost tracking, budget analysis, and financial forecasting while reviewing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
• Help prepare monthly financial reports, job cost summaries, and corporate reporting packages.
• Assist with month-end close, conduct financial research to support decisions, participate in audits, and help ensure internal controls.
