The Michaels Organization in Camden, NJ is seeking a Finance Intern (Military Operations) to apply accounting coursework in a real-world setting. The internship offers hands-on experience with our finance team and exposure to real estate accounting practices, with responsibilities across journal entries, reconciliations, and cash processes.

Ideal candidates are proactive, well-organized students who can work both independently and in a team, and who are eager to learn about the real estate

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid mathematical and accounting abilities.
• Professional, motivated and highly organized; able to work independently or with a team.
• Proficient in basic office tasks such as typing and filing.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Record recurring corporate level operating revenues and expenses.
• Post journal entries, cash receipts and vendor bills.
• Perform end of month reconciliations and enter K-1 activity to tax software.
• Complete bank reconciliations and reconcile petty cash accounts.
• Prepare monthly Capital Expenditure Draws.
