The First National Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on experience within the Finance Team while continuing education. The role involves daily reconciliations, teller cash balancing, and supporting Accounts Payable and special Finance projects.

You will work approximately 10-15 hours per week with a schedule aligned to class commitments, extending through May 2027. This student position emphasizes professional development and foundational banking skills.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing higher education in accounting, finance, business, or a related field preferred.
• Interest in gaining practical accounting, finance, and business experience.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the day-to-day responsibilities of the Finance Team while developing practical accounting and business experience.
• Assist with the daily balancing of teller cash and the Federal Reserve Account.
• Support balancing daily reports and reconciliations as needed.
• Assist with Accounts Payable activities, including processing check payments and recording debit card transactions.
• Participate in Finance projects and support other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
• Take an active role in your professional development with regular progress discussions and goal setting.
