Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Finance Intern to join its CFO organization. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience across financial analysis, reporting, planning, and special projects while collaborating with the Finance team and other functions.

You will develop foundational financial, analytical, and professional skills, contributing to day-to-day finance activities and meaningful projects with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Interest in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, or related Finance functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and other Finance activities as assigned.
• Support the preparation and review of financial reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and management materials.
• Assist with data collection, validation, and analysis to help ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Support Finance projects and process improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and the end-user experience.
• Assist with research and analysis related to business performance, financial trends, and other Finance initiatives.
• Partner with Finance team members and cross-functional stakeholders on assigned projects and deliverables.
