Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking a Finance Intern to support the financial planning & analysis team with budgeting, forecasting and reporting tasks. The intern will assist with operational analysis and accounting, contributing to process improvements in a 20-hour-per-week office environment, with a possible remote option.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in budgeting, reporting and financial analysis, and offers exposure to various Oshkosh brands within the aviation industry.

Qualifications

  • Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, Teams) with a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform various monthly reporting and data gathering tasks for internal and external reporting.
  • Improve processes by eliminating non-value added work through technology and continuous improvement tools.

Summary

The Finance Intern will support the financial planning & analysis team and overall business through completion of various reports and analytical projects. This role assists with operational analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and financial accounting. This role will be key to helping accomplish critical tasks and implement process improvements. This is a paid internship - 20 hours per week in an office environment; possible remote opportunity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

  • Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) throughout the summer and possibly part-time throughout the school year based on successful performance

Pay Range

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
