ISO New England, Inc. is offering a Finance Internship in Accounting & Budgeting within the Finance Department. Rising juniors majoring in Accounting can apply to gain hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis while sharpening Excel and accounting skills.

You'll work with finance professionals on reconciliations, month-end close, and financial planning activities, supporting a mission-driven organization that ensures reliable power for New England.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a four-year accounting program; rising junior preferred.
• Preferred major in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning accounting or finance applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
• Previous work experience in a professional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities.
• Assist with reconciliations and journal entries.
• Contribute to month-end close processes.
• Prepare analysis and review financial information.
• Learn how finance data informs decisions in a mission-driven organization.
