Fannie Mae offers a 10-week Finance internship from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027 with a set hourly rate of $33.00. Openings may be based in Washington, DC (Midtown Center) or Reston, VA (Reston Town Center).

Interns gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to leaders across finance, data, tech, and strategy in a mission-driven culture. As a Finance intern you will turn data into insights, analyze trends, and support financial controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• GPA 3.3 or higher (preferred)
• Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and applying new technologies including AI

Responsibilities

• Turn data into insights informing financial, loan acquisition, risk, or other decisions
• Explore how AI/automation can improve processes
• Analyze trends, prepare reports, and communicate findings to managers
• Support financial controls, operations, and risk management practices
• Collaborate with teams and learn how Finance supports Fannie Mae’s mission
