Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking an FP&A Intern in Ridgefield, CT to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will work closely with the Finance team to build advanced Excel models and gain hands‑on corporate finance experience.

You’ll assist with weekly to quarterly reports, help with budgeting, and develop dashboards for strategic decision making while collaborating across teams and maintaining professional communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and high‑quality work.
• Excellent communication skills; responsive and professional in all interactions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Can commit to 15-20 hours in office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and distribution of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Support the annual budget process by preparing and gathering financial data.
• Develop and maintain financial models in Microsoft Excel with high accuracy.
• Assist with monthly commissions calculations and adjustments.
• Perform data reconciliations and ensure consistency across multiple reports.
• Help create dashboards and reports to support strategic decision making.
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional partners, maintaining prompt, professional communication.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
