Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. in Indiana is offering a student accounting internship across multiple accounting areas. You will gain hands-on experience in cost, plant, sales revenue, fixed asset, and general accounting processes.

The role supports bank reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, budgeting, and credit evaluation while encouraging proactive problem solving and teamwork. Candidates actively pursuing a finance or accounting degree with sophomore standing are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a college degree in finance, accounting or similar.
• Minimum Sophomore standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist cost accounting activities.
• Support plant accounting, reporting and analytics.
• Assist sales revenue accounting.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including tax.
• Perform general accounting tasks: bank reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, account analysis, budgeting.
• Assist credit evaluation.
• Gain hands-on knowledge across areas.

What You'll Do:

• Cost Accounting
• Plant accounting, reporting and analytical responsibilities
• Sales revenue accounting
• Fixed asset accounting, including sales tax and property tax
• General accounting, including bank reconciliations, month end close, journal entries, account analysis, and budgeting

Requirements for Success:
