Earnings Potential:

• The salaryrange for this role is $100,000.00 to $175,000.00. This role is paid based solely on commissions in accordance with the Company’s Plan. Our total rewards package also includes performance bonuses and competitive benefits for eligible employees.

Job Summary:

Produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used vehicle customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties. Converts cash deals to finance.
• Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval. Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction.
• Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affectthe new- and used-vehicle and finance departments.
• Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficientmanner. Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
• Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies. Sets up and maintains a program which will ensure 100 percent turnover to the F&I department.
• Provides sales force and sales managers with current information about finance and lease programs continually. Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profitfrom every sale.
• Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
• Takes credit applications directly from the customer as needed. Attends sales staff and managers meetings.
• Handles all rate quotations.
• Develops and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Maintains an adequate and current supply of all required contracts and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals.
• Maintains a clean and professional work environment.
• Maintains professional appearance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Previous F&I automotive experience or two years of sales experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affectthe new and used vehicle and finance departments.
• Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Must have knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services.
• Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel, managing les and records, designing forms and other officeprocedures.
• Must utilize effective time management skills.
• Must have exceptional customer service skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have a professional appearance and manner.
• Must have the ability to establish productive, cooperative relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• A sales license must be maintained.
• An insurance license must be maintained.
• Manufacturer certification must be maintained at the minimum level.
• A valid driver’s license must be maintained.
