Job summary

Deltek, Inc. is offering a finance internship within the Cloud & Technology FP&A team, providing direct exposure to how finance operates in a fast-moving software business.

You will perform real analytical work, support budget prep and monthly close, and own a defined summer project with an end-of-summer presentation. You will complete coursework in Finance/Accounting/Economics (graduating 2026-2027) and gain hands-on experience with Excel modeling, data validation, and leadership reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, graduating 2026-2027.
• Strong Excel skills for modeling, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work with large datasets and explain findings clearly.
• Clear written and verbal communication; self-directed and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close by analyzing actuals vs. plan and building close commentary.
• Assist with annual budget preparation through model builds and data validation.
• Develop financial analyses and summaries for leadership reporting.
• Own a summer project with a defined deliverable and end-of-summer presentation.
• Present findings to the team and stakeholders at summer’s end.
