Dodge County seeks a Finance Director to lead accounting, budgeting and financial controls for the Clearview department, directing staff, hiring and evaluating personnel, and ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

This full-time exempt role oversees payroll, grants, audits, revenue tracking, and financial reporting to the County Board, collaborating with the County Finance Department to maintain fiscal responsibility and deliver transparent services to residents.

Qualifications

• Experience with government or public sector finance is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and budgeting in a government environment.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership in attracting, retaining, and developing an engaged workforce.
• Directs the work of assigned staff and conducts performance evaluations.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Assist in budget development and annual budget processes.
• Prepare financial reports and support audits and regulatory reporting.
