Earn up to $70/hr

Location: Remote (Open to Candidates Residing in PA, DE, FL, LA, MD, NJ, OH, TX, VA)

The Director of Finance will provide oversight and management of the divisional finance team supporting the Children & Family Division. The position will be responsible for providing financial support, financial planning, and forecasting analysis utilizing systems and advanced excel skills. Develop employees to enable them to assume increasingly complex financial and budgeting assignments, assisting them to achieve professional development goals.

The Director of Finance will:

  • Be responsible for overseeing and delivering monthly financial close reports, financial planning, and forecasting analysis utilizing systems and advanced excel functions.
  • Manage and support the finance team for the division by providing ongoing performance coaching, training, and professional development. Provide direct supervision including but not limited to assignment of work, and necessary and routine supervision.
  • Create methods of cross-functional collaboration within finance to cultivate best practices, share insights, and tackle challenges.
  • Manage development activities for the division providing financial support to evaluate and implement new programs and/or integration of acquisitions.
  • Develop and deliver financial reporting for the division to include external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and support Client Fund activities for Merakey.
  • Be responsible for contract reviews and agreement renewals with government agencies and external funders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience required.
  • Non-profit and/or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong excel skills a must, advanced skills preferred (i.e., Pivot Tables, Lookups, Macros, etc.).
