MemorialCare Health System is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial planning, reporting, accounting oversight, and controls for MemorialCare Select Health Plan. You will ensure timely financial and operational information for leadership, regulators, and auditors, manage data management and encounter data operations, and coordinate across Finance, IT, and operations.

• Five+ years of progressive finance experience in a managed health care organization, including financial reporting, planning, and analysis; experience leading staff and cross-functional work preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, managed care financial operations, claims and capitation, provider arrangements, and financial controls.
• Working knowledge of encounter data reporting, claims and enrollment data, health care code sets, and Medi-Cal/Medicare requirements; ability to direct specialized staff and evaluate data quality.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills, including Excel and presentation tools; familiarity with enterprise accounting, health plan, database, and reporting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the monthly close and review financial results, accruals, claims and capitation liabilities, premium receipts, vendor payments, and other material transactions.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, financial plans, KPIs, medical expense analyses, and actionable presentations.
• Coordinate external financial statement audits and regulatory examinations; manage attestations and remediation activities.
• Direct analytics and reporting, including data extracts, leadership packages, ad hoc analysis, and modeling support.
• Oversee encounter data processes from intake to submission, monitor volume and data quality, and resolve discrepancies.
