Finance Director – FP&A, Pricing & Finance Transformation

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Finance Director to help build a forward-looking, commercially minded, technology-enabled finance function. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll lead FP&A, pricing and margin analytics, cash forecasting, and management reporting. You’ll also drive real finance transformation using NetSuite and AI tools.

This is a role for someone who loves the numbers and the business: someone who challenges results that don’t make economic sense, turns analysis into decisions, and builds processes that make the whole team stronger.

What You’ll Do

• Own the rolling 12-month P&L forecast, annual budget, and periodic reforecasts
• Deliver variance analysis by channel, product family, and customer
• Build executive reporting that explains what happened, why, and what to focus on next
• Establish practical KPIs and recurring performance reporting

Cash Flow & Working Capital

• Own the 13-week cash forecast
• Improve visibility into inventory, receivables, payables, and purchasing commitments
• Flag emerging cash risks and opportunities early
• Lead pricing and profitability analytics across channels and product families
• Build templates for new-product pricing, discounting, and promotions
• Support our Pricing Committee with decision support and post-implementation reviews
• Develop visibility into landed cost, gross and contribution margin, and price realization
• Analyze the impact of freight, tariffs, and sourcing changes

Close & Accounting Partnership

• Partner with the Controller to improve the monthly close and target a three-day close
• Provide analytical review of close results
• Build enough accounting depth to serve as backup to the Controller
• Improve reconciliation quality, documentation, and cross-training

Finance Transformation & AI

• Identify and implement automation across close, reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations
• Put sound controls around AI-enabled workflows
• Help the finance team build practical AI and analytics skills

Team Development

• Work closely with the CFO, Controller, Assistant Controller, and accounting team
• Build cross-training and documented processes that strengthen the team
• Develop team members’ analytical judgment and ownership

What You Bring

• 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or accounting leadership
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills
• Experience with pricing, margin analysis, costing, or profitability analytics
• Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting flows, and month-end close
• ERP experience (NetSuite strongly preferred)
• A hands-on style paired with strategic thinking
• Confidence partnering with Sales, Operations, Product, Marketing, and executive leadership
• Bonus: experience automating finance processes with systems or AI

Compensation

$125,000–$150,000 base salary plus annual bonus, depending on experience.
