Job summary

James Hardie is seeking a Finance Director for the Exteriors Segment to partner with product leadership on strategy and investments, including NPI and go-to-market plans. This role drives planning, forecasting, and management reporting with a focus on value creation and strong executive presence.

You will lead a high-caliber finance team, collaborate across functions, and shape pricing, capital allocation, and risk governance while advancing a culture of accountability and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Strategy, Economics, or related field required.
• MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive financial management experience; public company experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and business performance management applications.
• Experience with Hyperion/Essbase, Oracle, SAP, and JDE a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Commercial Finance Organization and product leaders.
• Evaluate product roadmap investments, pricing governance, and value creation.
• Own portfolio economics including revenue, costs, rebates, and margins.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting for the Exteriors Segment.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team with cross-functional collaboration.
