Job summary

MP1 Solutions seeks a hands-on Director of Finance to own the day-to-day financial operations and contribute to broader operational functions. This is a leadership role in a growing company, built on a foundation of established processes and a collaborative leadership team.

You will manage the accounting cycle, cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting, while driving internal controls and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8-9 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
• 2-5 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role.
• Startup or small-company environment experience (under 200 employees).
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting cycle: general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, month-end close.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and daily cash positioning; bank reconciliations.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and maintain internal financial controls and policies.
• Participate in annual budgeting and financial planning with leadership and FP&A.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and banking partners.
