Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead team with analysis, reporting, and explanation of results vs. budget/forecast.
• Lead reporting to parent organization, auditors, and others as needed.
• Oversee semi-annual budgeting with full P&L, BS & CF.
• Manage monthly forecasting with full P&L, BS, & CF.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis, reporting and recommendations.
• Identify variances requiring management action and communicate them.
• Lead projects to improve reporting and analysis.
• Support reporting system enhancements.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for internal customers.
• Perform due diligence analysis of investment opportunities.

Director of Finance

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead team in providing analysis, reporting, and explanation of actual results and variances to budget/forecast
• Lead reporting to parent organization, auditors, and others as needed
• Semi-annual budgeting leadership and coordination, including full P&L, BS & CF
• Monthly forecasting responsibilities, including full P&L, BS, & CF
• Support strategic business initiatives, including financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations
• Identify and communicate areas of variance from plan/forecast that require management attention and action
• Lead projects that advance the company's reporting and analysis
• Support reporting system enhancements
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for various internal customers to address current business requirements
• Perform due diligence analysis of investment opportunities, including acquisitions, facilities investments, etc.

Education, Training and Skills

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or an MBA
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science or a related technical field
• Experience in management consulting (Big 4, boutique, strategy, operations consulting firms)
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office with advance skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and Great Plains accounting software
• Ability to research and identify problems, develop proposals, conduct analysis independently and in collaboration with others.
• Ability to problem solve and work independently.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work productively with organizations outside of the Finance Department.
• Ability to work with limited supervision

• Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
• Occasional standing, crouching and stooping
• Frequent sitting, reaching and twisting
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
