Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Finance Director to oversee financial operations for two inpatient rehab hospitals. The role focuses on budgeting, reporting, audits, and driving efficiency across departments.

The successful candidate will lead staffing, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of ethical financial management and continuous improvement in patient care services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, including budget planning, financial reporting, audit management, and initiatives that drive departmental efficiency and support organizational goals.
• Oversees all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care support services, IT systems, service levels, and complaint resolution.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets to ensure compliance with financial objectives.
• Coordinates and leads internal and external audits.
• Creates and fosters a professional environment that supports employee engagement, growth, and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Finance Director who excels in this role:
