Job summary

Lifepoint Health's East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Chandler seeks a Finance Director to lead two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals' financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, audits, and cost-efficiency initiatives. Responsibilities

• Oversees financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, including budgeting, reporting, audits, and efficiency initiatives.
• Directs budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Sets departmental goals aligned with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements.
• Leads staffing activities, hiring, evaluations, and continuing education.
• Plans and monitors budgets to meet financial objectives and ensures audit readiness.

How You'll Contribute

A Finance Director who excels in this role:

• Oversees all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, including budget planning, financial reporting, audit management, and initiatives that drive departmental efficiency and support organizational goals.
• Oversees all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care support services, IT systems, service levels, and complaint resolution.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and continuing education.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets to ensure compliance with financial objectives.
• Coordinates and leads internal and external audits.
• Creates and fosters a professional environment that supports employee engagement, growth, and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
