Job Description

As the Product Director, with the Forecast Automation and Engineering team, you will leverage your techno‑functional expertise to design and implement forecasting models that meet business needs and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring model accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret forecasting processes to design optimized solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and model enhancements (e.g., connecting upstream/downstream calculators, streamlining code base).
• Collaborate with tech teams, functional partners (P&A, Controllers, Risk), line‑of‑business partners (Firmwide, Commercial & Investment Bank) and internal stakeholders to align on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and manage a scorecard of metrics to track success in a multi‑dimensional way (e.g., time saved, data pipelines automated, control checks enabled).
• Deliver on AI agenda (e.g., agentic solutions that automate forecasting‑related activities, AI development for discovery).
• Articulate a product vision and strategy to guide development efforts.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for onboarding models onto cloud‑based architecture (e.g., Databricks).
• Leverage JIRA and JIRA Align to align stories, epics, and initiatives to the product roadmap.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in product management with a focus on data‑driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Python coding.
• Experience in developing and executing forecasting models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop comprehensive product roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Background in retail banking products.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end technologies and cloud solutions.
• Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals and returns on investment.
