Everforth Apex is seeking a Data Scientist for Finance to translate business problems into data-driven solutions in Addison, TX. The role emphasizes statistical analysis, machine learning, and large language models, with three days of on-site collaboration weekly.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in a related field and proven banking/finance domain experience, with strong Python/R skills and experience in ML libraries and data visualization tools.

Competenze

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in banking or a similar financial domain.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and pandas/scikit-learn/TensorFlow/PyTorch; experience with LLMs; knowledge of statistics, ML, data mining; data viz with Tableau/Power BI; Big Data Platforms, RDBMS, NoSQL; Agentic AI & Agent Development.

• Analyze large financial datasets to extract insights and support business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate ML models for banking/finance use cases (risk, fraud, customer segmentation).
