Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sr. Analyst in Finance - Data Governance to oversee master data quality and governance across supplier and customer records.

You will collaborate with AP/AR, Procurement, Finance, and IT to optimize data structures and reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role emphasizes data quality, process improvement, and ERP system collaboration, with a focus on automation and KPI development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required.
• 4-7 years in Shared Services, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Finance Operations, Data Governance, or related areas.
• Experience supporting supplier and customer data management processes and controls.
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data reporting tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supplier, customer, and financial master data to identify quality issues, duplicate records, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage and support supplier and customer onboarding, maintenance, validation, and modification processes within governance standards.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce master data governance policies, procedures, controls, and documentation.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Finance, and IT teams to improve master data structures, workflows, and business processes.
• Perform data quality reviews and audits to ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolution of master data issues impacting transactions, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Support ERP system enhancements, data migrations, acquisitions, integrations, and testing activities related to master data.
• Develop KPIs, service metrics, and reporting to monitor data quality, process effectiveness, and operational performance.
• Identify and implement automation, standardization, and continuous improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to business users related to supplier, customer, and master data processes.
