Job summary

Chase in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for BB Lending Finance to design and automate data pipelines, dashboards, and governance for small business lending decisions.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Product, and Technology to turn complex data into decision-ready intelligence, using SQL, Python, Databricks, and Tableau, with a focus on accuracy and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced SQL proficiency — clean, efficient, and readable code.
• Production-level Python for data transformation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or equivalent cloud data platform (Snowflake/Azure/AWS).
• Mastery of Tableau, Power BI, including data modeling and automated refresh.
• Data quality and governance experience with validation frameworks and lineage documentation.
• Strong communication skills translating technical constraints to finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the automation roadmap for BB Lending Finance, replacing manual reporting with scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Databricks for reliable data processing.
• Design and build executive-grade dashboards in Tableau and other tools for decision support.
• Implement data quality checks, data lineage, and business rules for traceability.
• Respond rapidly to new requirements from the financial intelligence team with quality controls.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate build quality and documentation.
• Collaborate with Technology and Data Engineering to integrate financial data across sources.
• Identify opportunities to modernize financial operations and reporting through data centralization.
