Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Richardson, TX team in a flexible hybrid role. You will analyze data using SQL and relational database tools, design tables and views, and support reporting needs to ensure accuracy and completeness of program results and reports.

You will organize information from multiple sources, translate requirements into structured data outputs, and collaborate with users to validate databases and reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS / MIS or related field, or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of data analysis experience.
• 2+ years experience with SQL or relational database tools.

In this role, you’ll work with SQL and relational database tools to analyze data, design tables and views, support reporting needs, and assist users with validating databases, program results, and reports for accuracy and completeness. You’ll organize and evaluate information from multiple sources, structure findings in a logical way, and ensure reports meet established requirements and specifications.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems, or other degrees can be considered + 2 years of relevant work experience; OR 6 years minimum related experience in lieu of a degree
• 2 years experience in data analysis
• 2 years experience with SQL or other relational database systems tools
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Structure large dataset to find usable info: identify trends, outliers, data anomalies
• Design tables / views / basic procedures / objects
• Understand the purpose of the report brief and adhere to its specifications; gather, collect, evaluate and analyze relevant information; structure material in a logical and coherent order; present your report in a consistent manner according to the instructions of the report brief
• Intermediate level skills, including SQL
• Experience in iterative application development
• Assist users in the verification of databases, program results and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Advanced beginner abilities on data tech (BI, DB Platforms, or other type data toolsets)
• Show basic analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques

This is a Flex (Hybrid) role: 3 days in office; 2 days remote. Richardson TX.

Compensation: $76,600.00 - $138,500.00
