Job summary

PNC is hiring a Business Analytics Consultant in the Finance organization, offering monthly reporting, ad hoc analyses, and data research. You will design impactful visualizations, build dynamic financial models, and work with data analysts across the organization to improve data capabilities and controls.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, SQL/SAS proficiency, and experience with Tableau/Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong financial and analytical skills, including knowledge of accounting, Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, SAS, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex coding challenges and data gaps.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain concepts, methodologies, and findings.
• Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and maintaining data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for analytics process, data, and solutions.
• Recommending performance measures including lifts, efficiencies, and statistical metrics.
• Analyzing and processing data, building models and report templates, and developing data-driven solutions.
• Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting findings.
• Consulting on using BI data for predictive analytics and implementing new tools and data marts.
