Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks an intern to join the Enterprise SG&A team within Corporate Finance. You will work with real data from day one, building tools and dashboards used by finance partners and department owners.

You’ll write SQL and Python against a financial data warehouse, design self-serve dashboards, and apply AI to finance workflows, from month-end close to planning. Authorized to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to build clean, traceable models.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and how a P&L is built.
• Fluency with AI tools, including prompt engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automations that replace manual steps in month-end close, reporting, and planning workflows.
• Write SQL and Python against Anduril’s financial data warehouse to pull, clean, and analyze GL, vendor, and headcount data.
• Design self-serve dashboards and tools for finance partners and department owners to get answers without ad hoc data requests.
• Apply AI to finance workflows, including building prompts, agents, and reusable skills, and testing output for accuracy before users access it.
• Set up scheduled tasks and data refreshes for recurring deliverables.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and business owners to understand current processes and design better ones.
