Job summary

OPmobility in Elkhart, IN, is seeking a Finance Controlling Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax compliance, accounting, and reporting for the Elkhart Plant as it produces heavy-duty batteries for buses.

You will analyze RoR, investments, depreciation, working capital, cash flow and profitability trends, identify risks, and drive cost-optimization using SAP FI-CO and MM. A Bachelor in Accounting/Finance and at least 1 year of plant Controlling experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 12 months of experience as Plant Controller, Country Controller, or related.
• Experience with SAP FI-CO and MM modules preferred.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage financial functions including budgeting, audits, tax compliance, accounting, forecasting, and insurance processes and reporting for Elkhart Plant.
• Analyze and evaluate RoR, investments, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, and profitability trends; identify risks and cost-optimization strategies.
• Prepare financial reports including monthly/quarterly forecasts, EBIT, cash flow swings, KPI/KMI metrics per IFRS and GAAP.
• Conduct production analysis of sales, purchasing, production, logistics, G&A and quality using SAP FI-CO and MM for battery production.
