Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Controller for a well-established, member-focused Credit Union.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving financial strategy. The successful candidate will lead accounting activities, manage the general ledger, and collaborate with auditors and leadership to strengthen financial controls and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Accounting / Finance experience.
• Credit Union / Banking / Financial Services experience.
• Strong Accounting Leadership at Controller level.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (banking/credit union standards).
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to leadership.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team.
• Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders.
