Job summary

Neal Communities in Florida is seeking an experienced finance professional to support the Vice President of Finance in managing cash, debt, tax reporting, and financial reporting. This on-site role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of accounting experience.

You will supervise banking relationships, assist with line of credit renewals, record interest and fees, and contribute to tax returns and corporate filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years experience in accounting, finance, public accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements , reconciliations, and accounting principles..
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Vice President of Finance in the administration of corporate finance operations, including cash management, debt administration, corporate compliance, tax reporting, and financial reporting activities
• Support banking relationships and account administration.
• Assist with daily cash management activities and cash flow reporting.
• Support line of credit administration, including monthly collateral reporting, covenant compliance, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with annual renewals for line of credit agreements and annual credit rating
• Record monthly interest expense and loan fee journal entries for all active debt facilities.
• Support bond issuances and related financing transactions.
• Coordinate debt and finance related item requests from lenders, auditors, and consultants.
• Assist with federal income tax and tangible personal property tax returns.
• Assist with corporate entity maintenance, including state filings and registrations.
• Support special projects involving acquisitions, financing transactions, and land development activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency.

What You’ll Do
