Job summary

Textron is seeking Finance/Accounting or Business students for a year-round internship. You will gain hands-on experience across Tax, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense while receiving mentoring from cross-functional teams.

Primary duties include processing invoices for multiple Textron business units and communicating with vendors on past-due balances. You will work with ERP systems like SAP, Lawson, Oracle, Trans4M, and Envision to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields.
• Strong academic performance preferred.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices for multiple Textron, Inc. business units within 48 hours of receipt.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors via phone and email in a professional, timely manner.
• Identify issues that increase vendor inquiries and communicate with Accounts Payable to resolve.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and research discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
• Collaborate across ERP systems (SAP, Lawson, Oracle, Trans4M, Envision) to resolve discrepancies.
