High Point Federal Credit Union in Olean, NY is seeking a Finance Clerk I to support day-to-day financial operations with emphasis on accuracy and member service. This role is ideal for individuals learning the financial services industry or for tellers transitioning to new duties.

The position is 38-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours 8:30am–5:30pm. Hybrid work is available, with a remote option 1 day per week after familiarization.

• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures preferred.
• Associate’s or equivalent with experience/education preferred.

Position: Finance Clerk I

As a Finance Clerk at High Point Federal Credit Union, you will be an integral part to supporting day-to-day financial operations. Your purpose:

• Contact members to perform collection activities associated with negative balance accounts.
• Work closely with management to resolve complex member account situations, following all established regulations and policies.
• Promptly and professionally address requests, inquiries, and issues.
• Accurately perform daily activities to support the Finance Department.

We are looking for:

The expected pay range for this position is $16-$19 per hour. The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law. This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits or other types of compensation. Salary bands are purposefully wide ranging to encompass the different factors considered in determining where a candidate falls in the range, including but not limited to, seniority, performance, experience, education, and any other legitimate, non-discriminatory factor permitted by law.
