Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Biloxi, MS is seeking an Accounting Clerk responsible for processing invoices, posting ledger entries, and ensuring regulatory compliance within gaming operations. This role also involves preparing CTRs, reconciling cash flow, and maintaining meticulous records to support daily financial reporting.

You will handle data entry, prepare vendor statements, and assist with monthly closings while adhering to confidentiality and internal controls.

Qualifications

GED or High School Diploma required with 1–3 months related experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, Access.
Experience with accounting software and data entry responsibilities.
Ability to read instructions and write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge and enforce all gaming laws and regulations.
Compile paperwork from Player Services and revenue outlets; track cash transactions; prepare CTRs.
Generate detailed reports for revenue categories.
Monitor compliance and report irregularities to Finance Manager.
Post daily General Ledger entries for financial reporting.
Open and sort mail.
Code non-po invoices and indicate Requester.
Enter urgent check requests and ABC debits.
Process receipts and vendor statements; assist with inventory/EOY processes.
Support customer service and confidentiality.
