San Diego Community College District is seeking an Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance and Business Services to oversee district budgets, audits, and financial reporting. The role emphasizes equitable and compliant financial operations districtwide.

The position reports to the Vice Chancellor, with responsibilities including strategic budgeting, policy development, and leading accounting functions in a complex public system.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and GASB requirements.
• Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, orally and in writing.
• Hire, onboard, train, evaluate, supervise, develop, and discipline staff.
• Understand and apply laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting finance and business services.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, direct, and lead district budgets and multi-year projections.
• Oversee annual financial audits and close of fiscal year.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for executive leadership.
• Develop policies and procedures for finance and business services programs.
• Lead initiatives to improve equity and inclusion in operations.
