Main duties of the job

We'd like you to join us as a Finance Business Partner covering our Hospitals in Active Care Group. This position is remote but there will be a expectation for travel 2- 3 days per week to our Hospitals in the following locations: London, Chislehurst, Bristol, Birmingham & Redhill.The Finance Business Partner will support the Commercial Finance Director in providing financial business partnering and analysis to the Managing Director and the Regional Senior Management Team.

Job responsibilities

What you'll be doing:

  • Business Partnering to the Managing Director and operational and commercial teams providing quality financial analysis and support.
  • Drive development of appropriate KPIs and make use of these to drive accurate and incisive management reporting and business decisions.
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets and forecasts supporting the Commercial Finance Director and Managing Director and liaising with other members of the Finance, Commercial and Operations team.
  • Ad hoc analysis and costings in support of the Commercial and Operational teams.
  • Support the commercial team in pricing discussions and other commercial issues.
  • Support the preparation of business cases for any acquisition and new branch opening projects.
  • Preparation of accurate and insightful management information with appropriate KPIs, including revenue and margin analysis.
  • Maintaining a continual focus on ensuring that information is presented in the most useful way possible and that any issues identified which would enable management to improve business performance are appropriately reported.
  • Support the Commercial Finance Director and wider finance team as required

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).

  • Proven track record of succeeding in a deadline driven environment.
  • High level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Strong excel, analysis and presentation skills.

Experience

  • Finance Business Partnering in the same or a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced quickly changing environment.
  • Independent, self-motivated and organised; with an ability to work as part of a remote team
  • Maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.
  • An enthusiastic individual who has a flexible approach.
