Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to critique AI-generated financial analyses against real corporate scenarios. You will check three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions and the underlying working capital logic, and you will explain how numbers should reconcile with sound accounting.

You’ll trace driver choices, expose inconsistencies in models, and compose defensible analyses with honest assumptions and clear storytelling for CFO audiences. Remote, flexible project-based work.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance.
• Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.
