Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Finance & Business Analyst to deliver financial reporting, operational analysis, and strategic projects from a remote location in the United States. The role partners with leadership to provide insights, track metrics, and drive profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years in finance or related roles, strong Excel skills, and experience building dashboards and reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Financial Support: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and KPI dashboards; assist with budgeting and forecasting; ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; monitor profitability metrics; manage bad debt; develop dashboards.
• Business Analysis: Develop and maintain performance metrics; analyze trends in sales, operations, quality, and profitability; create reports for leadership; support pricing and cost analysis.
• Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives: Own reporting to key customers on a weekly/monthly basis; lead strategic and operational improvement projects; manage cross-functional initiatives; develop/track project plans and executive status reporting; support process improvements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes; evaluate systems, workflows, and controls; lead continuous improvement with data-driven analysis.

What You Will Do:

The Finance & Business Analyst is responsible for financial reporting, operational analysis, and special projects that support business performance. This role works closely with leadership to provide data-driven insights, track key metrics, improve processes, and support business initiatives.

• Financial Support
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and KPI dashboards
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Monitor profitability metrics.
  • Manage proactively potential bad debt and close out any open bad debt invoices.
  • Develop financial dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership.
• Business Analysis
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics.
  • Analyze trends in sales, operations, quality, and profitability.
  • Create reports for leadership decision-making.
  • Support pricing and cost analysis.
• Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Own required reporting to key customers on a weekly, monthly, etc. basis.
  • Lead strategic and operational improvement projects identified by executive leadership.
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives related to process optimization, organizational effectiveness, growth strategies, and profitability improvement.
  • Develop/Track project plans, timelines, milestones, and executive-level status reporting.
  • Support implementation of process improvements and track realized benefits.

  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and strengthen operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate systems, workflows, and controls and recommend enhancements.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts using data-driven analysis.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of finance, accounting, analyst, or project coordination experience.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: This role is considered a remote position.

Travel requirements: 5% travel is required for this position.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
