Job summary

Speria is seeking a Finance BI Analyst to join our Finance team. You will transform data into actionable insights, building dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to drive strategic decisions across the organization.

You’ll collaborate with Finance, Projects, Operations, and leadership to improve reporting processes, forecast visibility, and overall business performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience building dashboards from scratch (Power BI strongly preferred).
• Strong data modeling and data analysis experience.
• Experience creating reports, KPIs, and business insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Finance BI Analyst to join our growing Finance team.

In this role, you will partner with Finance, Projects, Operations, and business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building reporting solutions from the ground up, uncovering trends in complex datasets, and translating business needs into meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and analytics.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence decision-making across the organization while helping improve reporting processes, forecast visibility, and overall business performance.

What You’ll Do

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
• Create KPI reporting and executive-level reporting packages
• Develop scalable reporting frameworks that improve visibility into business performance
• Automate reporting processes and reduce manual effort
• Deliver actionable insights from operational and financial data

Data Analytics & Modeling

• Collect, validate, organize, and analyze business data
• Build data models that support reporting and analytical initiatives
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis
• Improve data quality, consistency, and reporting integrity

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner with Finance, Projects, Operations, and Leadership teams
• Gather reporting requirements and translate them into business solutions
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Serve as a trusted advisor for data-driven decision-making

Forecasting & Financial Analytics (Preferred)

• Support project revenue forecasting and performance reporting
• Analyze forecast variances and key business drivers
• Develop dashboards supporting planning and forecasting initiatives
• Progressively become the primary analytics partner for Projects and Implementation teams

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or similar role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience building dashboards from scratch (Power BI strongly preferred)
• Strong data modeling and data analysis experience
• Experience creating reports, KPIs, and business insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Finance or FP&A teams
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting
• Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise business systems
• Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, or similar tools
• Experience in SaaS, technology, consulting, professional services, or project-based environments
