Job summary

Caliber Resource Partners, LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Finance Associate/VP to join our team and take a front-row seat on acquisitions. You will underwrite opportunities, build models, and pressure-test assumptions before they reach the committee, working directly alongside the deal team and leadership from day one.

Early career candidates with 3–4 years in banking, private equity, or corporate finance and strong modeling skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum investment banking or related experience in an M&A generalist or industry team (preferably Oil & Gas).
• Proficient in financial valuation methodologies and applications.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or a related business discipline.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite acquisition opportunities and build the financial models.
• Pressure-test assumptions before the investment committee.
• Work directly with the deal team and expose leadership to the process from day one.
• Support decision-making with robust financial analysis and data-driven insights.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with stakeholders.
