Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group in Arlington, VA offers an 18-month finance rotation program covering FP&A, business operations, process optimization, and risk management. You will gain on-the-job training, mentorship, and networking to accelerate analytics and organization skills, with a path to a permanent role within the finance organization upon completion.

The program starts July 2027 and pays a compensation range of $70,000.00–$80,000.00, with placement based on experience, skills, and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related majors; or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related business setting.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the financial cycles and gain a financial and operational understanding of the business.
• Develop accurate reporting and analyses to drive insights and decision-making.
• Assist with revenue and operating expense analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Draft and approve contracts and analyze incoming orders; calculate sales credits.
• Price subscription products to meet customer and business needs.
• Provide sourcing solutions, handle vendor payments, and ensure license compliance.
• Assist with annual compliance reviews and control documentation.
• May perform other special tasks and projects as assigned.

Job description

You have the drive to learn and succeed as a finance professional at a technology and information services company. During the 18-month rotational program, you will explore different aspects of finance including financial planning and analysis, business operations, process optimization, and risk management. Through on-the-job training, mentorship, and networking, you will quickly develop analytical and organizational skills. After completing the 18-month program, associates will graduate and have the opportunity to move into a permanent role within the finance organization.

Responsibilities:

• Learn about the various financial cycles and gain a financial and operational understanding of the business and products.
• Develop accurate reporting and analyses that drive improved insights and decision-making.
• Assist with tasks such as revenue and operating expense analysis, financial reporting, forecasting (Budget/Quarterly) to facilitate decision making.
• Draft and approve contracts and proposals for new customers, process and analyze incoming orders, and calculate sales credits awards.
• Accurately and appropriately price sales of subscription products to ensure customer and business needs are met.
• Provide sourcing solutions, execute vendor payments, and ensure license compliance and internal control effectiveness.
• Assist with the annual compliance review by researching and providing proof of compliance to controls, policies, and procedures.
• May perform other special tasks and projects, as assigned.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other related majors; or equivalent experience.
• 0 - 2 Years of Experience working in finance, accounting, or relative business setting.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.

This role has an expected start date of July 2027.

Compensation Range: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
