Position: Finance Attorney (Senior Associate) – Private Credit/Direct Lending

We have an immediate need for a highly-qualified Senior Associate with 6+ years of experience representing Lenders in Private Credit/Direct Lending transactions to join our growing Finance Group in the New York Office.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience representing private credit lenders in secured financing transactions in middle market sponsored and non-sponsored secured lending transactions, including cash flow financings, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, encompassing both senior and junior capital facilities. Experience with restructurings, cross-border transactions and asset-based financings is a plus. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commitment papers, term sheets, credit agreements, collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, and generally leading and supervising all aspects of lending transactions.

  • You have six (6)+ years of big law firm experience representing private credit funds and direct lenders in secured finance transactions. Experience with cross-border transactions, restructurings and workouts, and familiarity with intercreditor arrangements is a plus.
  • You are a highly-motivated and proactive team player with a results-oriented work ethic, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrable client relationship skills.
  • You are a member of the State Bar of New York.
  • Strong academic credentials and strong prior Big Law work experience required.
